Lupus is the main character of the comic. A young Hunter, he is thoughtful and reserved. He was orphaned as a baby by werewolves who had taken over his family farm. After the weres were exterminated, the Hunter in charge of that mission took charge of young Lupus, and named him after the creatures found amounst, much to the chagrin of Drathan, a Slayer who was his best freind. Lupus is careful to act, and likes to think things through before doing anything.

Natanel is Lupus's brash older brother. He, too has followed in their father's footsteps and become a Hunter. Unlike Lupus, however, Nat is impulsive and fun-loving, prefering to get something done and think about the possible consequences later. Nat never questions his superiors, and is very prejudiced and ignorant in his views, but couldn't care enough to even think about changing them.
